This design was featured in a beautiful kitchen in "Country Living" magazine. The stencil was applied on the walls at ceiling height, along the sides of the island, and on top/down legs of stools.  It is a simple and flowing design that can easily be free-formed to achieve a hand-painted effect.  (Click on thumbnail picture above.)
